The days 25 and 26 of June saw the esLibre 2021 Congress, a meeting of people interested in free technologies and culture, focused on sharing knowledge and experience around the same.
The 2021 edition, the third of this event, was held online thanks to the organization of LibreLabUCM. The OfiLibre URJC participated as collaborators, after having been the hosts in the past 2020 edition.
The entire congress was held using free software. The talks were accessible through a proprietary instance of BigBlueButton, deployed on LibreLabUCM’s servers.
Program
This year’s program has been very varied, with talks for all types of audiences. We have had numerous technical talks and workshops, but also colloquiums on free culture, legislation, and society. Many aspects of society are affected by the privatization of technologies and knowledge, making it especially interesting to analyze their influence on public education and healthcare.
We encourage you to take a look at the program. We remind you that all conferences were recorded and will soon be available to watch on demand; we will soon update you with the information to access them.
