At OfiLibre, we aim to promote knowledge about free culture, open publishing, free software, and open data.
Since we started working, we have organized a series of informational sessions on these topics.
But we also want to connect with those in our university community who are already engaging with these issues and sharing their knowledge.
If you’re interested in organizing an activity related to our areas of focus (a presentation, a workshop, a discussion session, a round table, a training session, etc.), we will try to support you.

Our support can take various forms (to be considered case by case):

  • We can assist, if helpful, with booking spaces on campus for your activity.
  • If you want your event to be recorded, we will help with the necessary process when possible (depending on room and budget availability).
  • We will design and share posters, and promote the event on social media, based on the information you provide about your activity (what it’s about, duration, speakers, etc.).
  • We will also publish the event on URJC Events, which allows for registration management and offers other useful support services.
  • We will publish any free-licensed documents used during the event on our blog, or link to them if you prefer to publish them elsewhere.
  • If you wish, we can also assist in the process of requesting that your activity count toward Academic Credit Recognition.

So, if you have an idea in mind and want to bring it to life,
don’t hesitate to get in touch with us: ofilibre@urjc.es.

We look forward to your ideas!
