OfiLibre wants to introduce eciencia, the open archive within BURJC-Digital, which functions as an institutional repository of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Its objective is to archive and preserve the scientific production resulting from the academic and research activity of the university community, in order to disseminate it in open access.
OfiLibre has decided to focus on final degree projects and final master’s projects.
BURJC follows the Regulation of the functioning of the Council of Publications of the Open Institutional Archive of the URJC, which was approved by the Government Council on July 27, 2017.
If an author is interested in having their work included in BURJC Digital, they should follow the instructions indicated in the following link. We leave you a screenshot of the guidelines to follow:
Publishing a work in open access has infinite advantages both in the academic and professional fields.
- Final degree and master’s projects involve a lot of effort and work, and by contributing to the community, your work can be used by other members.
- Open access will allow anyone to read your project from anywhere in the world, and they can even continue or give it another focus.
- Open access will allow anyone to cite you.
- You will have a unique URL through which you can share your work in a simple and quick way.
- Open access is the opportunity to have a greater impact on the community.
Encourage yourselves to publish in open access!
