This Tuesday, May 6, 2025, we had the pleasure of receiving Victoria Kompanets, Funding Advisor, Research Services at LUT University (Finland), member of EULiST, at our office.

During her visit, attended by Jesús María González-Barahona and Florencia Claes, we discussed the various initiatives driven by the OfiLibre Office of Knowledge and Free Culture of the Rey Juan Carlos University. Among the topics addressed, the open access, free software, and free culture promoting events and activities stood out. These initiatives are fundamental to fostering a more inclusive and collaborative academic and professional environment, where knowledge and resources are available to everyone.

Victoria’s visit was an excellent opportunity to strengthen the bonds between our institutions and to learn from her experience in the field. We deeply thank Victoria for her time and for sharing her valuable knowledge with us. We are thrilled about the cooperation possibilities that emerged from this meeting and look forward to continuing this valuable exchange in the near future.
